Poles
Using original techniques for traditional timber framing peeled log posts and partially round beams are secured with interlocking wood joinery, oak dowels and angle bracing.

This traditional format of design lends well to designating bays between “bents” as a room or area of use. This way the beams and posts frame the space.
As we harvest poles we support the well-being of Northern California timber lands with proper thinning practices, reducing fuel load, and allowing nearby trees to flourish.

When appropriate, we combine the graceful interlocking joinery of traditional techniques with modern metal fasteners to fulfill design specifications.
